City of North Vernon Utilities ~ February 3, 2017 Press Release
To: City of North Vernon Utility Customers

Beginning Monday, February 6, 2017 North Vernon Water will begin installing the new remote radio read meters to residential customers. This project is expected to continue through May 2017. Due to the transition, there may be intermittent and short loss of service localized to each service lasting no more than a few minutes at a time. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time. If you have any questions, please contact the water department at 812-346-2037.

The Water Plant controls water treatment, distribution, inspection, maintenance of lines, and regulation of safety measures for water consumption and returning water back into its natural environment without adverse ecological impact.
